29 June 2026: Launching the Palliative and End-of-Life Care Special Interest Group

26 March 2025: Policy Lab – Building Towards Equity in Dementia Care Together
On March 26th, the EMPOWER Dementia Network+ and the Policy Institute at King’s College London, invited people with lived experience of dementia, practitioners, researchers and policymakers to a Policy Lab. Together, we co-developed actionable priorities to reduce inequalities for people living with dementia needing greater support.
04 March 2025: The Rainbow Care Group in Bromley Co-creation Event
On the 9th December, Rowcroft Hospice hosted the first of the EMPOWER Dementia Network community co-production workshops. These workshops will build on the workshop hosted in London on the 15th October to grow the networks vision for excellent and inclusive dementia care.
20 January 2025: Croydon Cafe Co-creation Workshop
On the 20th of January 2025, the EMPOWER Dementia Network+ collaborated with Croydon Dementia Café for a co-creation workshop. Together, we explored ideas for achieving excellent and inclusive dementia care, bringing together people living with dementia and their family members. 09 Dec 2024: Planting the seeds of inclusive dementia care
On the 9th December, Rowcroft Hospice hosted the first of the EMPOWER Dementia Network community co-production workshops. These workshops will build on the workshop hosted in London on the 15th October to grow the networks vision for excellent and inclusive dementia care.
15 Oct 2024: Coming together to imagine a future for excellent and inclusive dementia care
On the 15th of October our network of around 30 researchers, community organisations, and others who work and live with people with dementia came together in London for our first creative workshop.
