Professor Nathan Davies, Queen Mary University of London
Nathan is a mixed methods researcher with particular expertise in qualitative and co-production methods. His main research areas are focussed on people with dementia and neurodegenerative conditions, across the themes: 1) Managing clinical complexity including palliative and end of life care; 2) Communication and decision making; 3) Digital health; and 4) Enhancement of co-production and applied qualitative research methods.
Strengths I bring: Co-production, public engagement, managing complexity.
What I would like the network to achieve: Better engagement with organisation and charities who are working hard on the coal face to support people with dementia and families.
The Centre for Psychiatry and Mental Health is based within the Wolfson Institute of Population of Health at Queen Mary University of London and includes multi-disciplinary clinical and non-clinical researchers and teachers working collaboratively and inclusively to deliver impact for people living with either mental health conditions, multiple long-term conditions, or dementia. We post the Alzheimer’s Society Doctoral Training Centre on Integrated Care led by Prof Davies and one of the two NIHR Dementia Neurodegenerative disease policy research units – DeNPRU-QM.
