Home Instead Bromley, Chislehurst & Orpington
Strengths we bring: Home Instead Bromley provides person centred care and support to older people, including those living with dementia and their families. Alongside our care services, we are committed to building stronger, more connected communities through community engagement, education and partnership working.
Through initiatives such as our What’s On Where (WOW) Guide, Love to Move sessions and relationships with local community organisations, social prescribing teams and voluntary groups, we work to connect people with activities, services and support that can help them live well and remain engaged within their communities.
We are passionate about collaboration and value opportunities to work alongside people with lived experience, community organisations, researchers and professionals to improve outcomes for people affected by dementia. We are particularly committed to supporting inclusive approaches that help ensure dementia care and support is accessible to people from all backgrounds and communities.
Why we want to be involved in EMPOWER Dementia Network: Through our involvement in the EMPOWER Dementia Network+, we hope to learn from people with lived experience, contribute to meaningful conversations around dementia care and support, and strengthen our community outreach work. We are keen to collaborate with partners across health, social care and the voluntary sector to help improve awareness, inclusion and access to support for people affected by dementia.
