Miss Ana Maksimovic
I am conducting my PhD research at the Cicely Saunders Institute of Palliative Care, Policy & Rehabilitation, which belongs to King’s College London. The institute produces world-leading research which is dedicated to advancing palliative care evidence. My background in health economics has led me to pursue a PhD at the Cicely Saunders Institute, where I am interested in how people with dementia, their formal carers (e.g. doctors, nurses, etc.) and informal carers (e.g. family and friends) work together to make decisions.
Strengths I bring: Interdisciplinary, receptive, curious.
What I would like the network to achieve: By combining my expertise in economics and engaging with people with lived experience, I aim to offer practical insights that can improve decision-making and help ensure that the voices of people living with dementia, and their formal and informal carers are heard and valued.
